Our Mission
Ottawa Mehr Group is dedicated to supporting underprivileged children and families across Iran. While one of our main areas of focus is the Sistan and Baluchestan provinces, where communities face severe economic hardships, limited access to education, and inadequate healthcare, we also collaborate with various charity organizations in other regions of Iran. Through fundraising events and case-by-case assistance, we strive to provide essential support wherever it is needed most.

We’re happy to share that funds raised through the recent Kebab sale, which will go toward the following initiatives:

Construction of part of a home for a family currently renting, whose father is undergoing treatment for kidney cancer. We hope they can move into their own home soon.

Supporting a person living with hemophilia who is preparing to start a small business and needed help purchasing supplies.

Electric mattress and a multifunctional wheelchair for two young girls with disabilities.

A specialized wheelchair was provided for a young woman affected by polio.

A wheelchair was also delivered to an elderly gentleman recovering from recent surgery.

Rental support was offered to a family in financial hardship.

Medical care of a child in need of facial surgery.

Housing support fund of a Tehran-based charity assisting vulnerable families.

Part of the collected funds will go toward the sponsorship of families currently under the care of Mehrabanan Ottawa.
In addition, Mehrabanan Ottawa is exploring new livelihood opportunities in the Sistan region, and a portion of the funds will be directed toward future job-creation initiatives there.
